The Fenvi FV150 wireless LAN adapter is designed for use with the DMP-BD77, SC-BTT190 and SC-BTT195 Blu-ray disc players. It improves the usability of a Blu-ray player by increasing its functionality. For example, the Panasonic DY-WL5 wireless LAN adapter allows users to access additional Blu-ray player features like web browsing and video streaming services. This increased functionality is owed to a variety of technical features: IEEE802.11 b/g/n wireless standard compliance, 2.4-GHz frequency range, USB DCV5 power supply, and power consumption of just 2500 mW. The Fenvi FV150 wireless LAN adapter is a great way to upgrade an existing Blu-ray player so that it offers comparable performance to a model with built-in wireless capability.
Simply plug the adapter into the USB port of your Panasonic Blu-ray player, recorder, home cinema or theater system and you’re ready to connect to your wifi network.
You will then have access to Panasonic’s Smart Apps such as BBC iPlayer, Netflix, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Picasa (specific apps may be model-dependent).
You may also be able to use the DLNA / UPnP function to access music, photos, videos etc from your PC, Mac or smartphone.
